Why WPT?
Wireless power transfer (WPT) enables electrical energy to be transferred without physical connections, reducing cable dependence and improving user convenience, durability, and mobility. WPT is particularly attractive for applications such as electric vehicles, consumer electronics, industrial systems, medical devices, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Why is WPT important?
- Convenience: Power can be transferred without physical cables or connectors.
- Mobility: WPT enables power delivery while reducing the constraints imposed by wired connections.
- Durability: Eliminating physical connectors can reduce mechanical wear.
- Flexibility: WPT can be adapted to a wide range of applications, from consumer electronics to industrial and transportation systems.
- Continuous power delivery: WPT can enable convenient and continuous energy transfer without repeatedly connecting and disconnecting cables.
